Introduction to Microarray Technology course in Oslo 9.-10. May 2011

An introductory course to the field of microarray technology, experiment design and data analysis.

Description

In this two-day course we aim to familiarize scientists to microarray technology. On day one the focus is on microarray technology and experimental design, while day two is dedicated to an introduction to data analysis.

The course will be mainly lectures covering topics such as microarray technology, including next generation sequencing, the microarray pipeline, experimental design, pre-processing of data and statistical analysis of microarray data. While the data analysis part is purely theoretical, there will be a hands-on exercise on experimental design.

There will be a course fee of 1000 NOK. Please include a valid invoice address in the remarks field in the registration page when registering for the course.
