Microarray data management workshop in Bergen, 24th of September 2009
Summary
Norwegian Microarray Consortium (NMC) Bergen node is arranging a series of regular workshops this autumn, roughly once a month. The next one out is Thursday 25th, with focus on using BASE to manage microarray data. The idea is that everyone with microarray data can bring their data and get help with problems, or discuss particular topics of interest.
Description
Questions that could be of general interest or topics for discussion should be submitted to the NMC staff prior to the workshop, who then plan the plenary part of the workshop. The second part is hands on where everyone is working with their own data.
This is a format that has been tried out for a couple of years
and is working very well. Since this is the first workshop in this series focusing on using BASE for managing your microarray data, we will prepare some exercises to get you started in addition to work on your own data under NMC staff guidance.
